What we are looking for a ( pleasant studious person ) that is interested in living in a clean, reasonably quite, non-party environment. You can check the neighborhood out at ( www.marcy-holmes.org ). ----------- People who may like to party are welcome to live here, but to protect the studious atmosphere of the house, partying is to be done somewhere else other then this house, with the party not coming home with you. ---------- Not only is this a nice coed house with lots of character, you can park your car and skip dealing with the traffic because as you can see on the Marcy Holmes website it is wonderfully located within an easy walking or biking distance to almost everywhere. Located only two blocks from either Dinkytown or the bus stop. With only three blocks walking distance to the Mpls. East Bank U of M. Yes that makes the University of Minnesota within easy walking distance. It only a slightly longer walk or a quick bike ride to the Stone Arch Bridge, St. Anthony Main or Downtown Minneapolis.---------- This is a nice, efficient, updated six bedroom house with two full bathrooms. With each tenant having there own large secure air conditioned bedroom. Along with sharing the common areas of the house which include an outside garden patio with outdoor fireplace, barbecue, a small refrigerator located under an outdoor granite counter top. Then there is also the laundry with two non coin washers and dryers, kitchen with two full sized refrigerators, living room, dining room and the two bathrooms.---------- To preserve a studious productive atmosphere within the house a maximum of 6 people total are allowed live in this house. With one person living in each unit.---------- Proprietor supplies house mechanical and maintenance such as the wiring, plumbing repairs, yard maintenance. Plus the basic weekly cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms and the hallways with the service being included in the rent.---------- The roommate openings require a 6-month minimum lease; with a 60-day notice being required before moving out anytime after the required 6-month initial rental period has past. The rental agreement is flexible allowing for you to potentially stay in the house longer, if you are compatible with the others in the house. Therefore if you end up needing a place for say 6 months to even a few years the lease will in most cases allow you that ongoing option. The 60 day notice before moving continues to be a requirement all during your stay.------------ The other housemates are all courteous, studious and easy going. This house is large enough so everyone can spend time in there own personal space or be social or studying in the common areas, which ever may feel is appropriate to you at any given time. ---------- The unwavering theme of this house is that the atmosphere and inner workings of the house continue to be student friendly.---------- Utilities at this location run around $35 to $100 per month per person depending mostly on the outside temperature.---------- No application Fees.---------- A detailed background check is a requirement of each tenant prior to moving in this house. However the background checks are paid for by the property owner.---------- No Smoking No Pets---------- An appointment is required to view this property.
